Wagtails Fundraising Shoppe
Wagtails is the only Animal Welfare Society PE Charity Shoppe and exists to support our Shelter at Victoria Drive to raise much needed funds for all our shelter animals. We would like to make the public aware of the fact that although we sell second hand items which are kindly donated by the public, most of what we receive is often in an excellent condition (often brand new!!) and therefore we urge you to come and have a look for yourselves- you never know what you might find!
Our Trading hours are as follows:
Monday – Friday: 09h00 – 16h40
Saturdays: 09h00 – 13h00
Sundays: Closed

You as the public play an integral part of our society and without your valuable efforts, we would not be able to function. We therefore ask you to please consider volunteering at our shoppe as we are in desperate need of people who are able to work one or two shifts per week; either the morning shift (09h00 – 13h00) or the afternoon shift (13h00 -16h30). By helping us in the shoppe you are helping our animals greatly!
We also ask that you please keep us in mind when cleaning out cupboards. Your kind donations are what keeps us in operation… We are always in need of:
- Working electrical goods
- Furniture
- Crockery & Cutlery (does not have to be a matching set!)
- Children’s Clothes & Shoes
- Books (huge need for Afrikaans books)
- Toys
- Baby Clothes & Accessories
- DVD’S, CD’s & Videos
- Linen & curtains- pillowcases, duvet covers, sheets, etc.
- HOMEWARE, HOMEWARE, HOMEWARE
- Puzzles & Games
We speak for those who cannot speak for themselves and we strive to be their voice through our Service, Integrity, Loyalty, Kindness and Love to all living beings… It’s what they give us so why should we be any different?
